Accreditations
At Computertrans, we place a high value on ensuring that the entire fleet of vehicles is stringently maintained to industry standards. A primary focus is to ensure a safe and efficient transport operation through compliance with all significant legislation and regulations.
Accreditation has evolved into a formal process for recognising operators who have good safety and other management systems in place. It is also increasingly being used to show compliance with the chain of responsibility and duty of care requirements.
Computertrans is an accredited operator in the voluntary National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS), with accreditation also received for the Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue modules. To become accredited into the Basic Fatigue Management, Mass Management and Maintenance Management modules, operators must be able to provide documentary and auditable evidence that they are complying with the standards and their systems are audited through the approved processes.
In addition, Computertrans is an Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) work clearance approved contractor, a member of the ATM Industry Association of Australasia (ATMIA) and the Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL).
